Fun-tastic Funfetti Cookies

I stole this recipe for Fun-tastic Funfetti Cookies from VeryBestBaking.com. These festive cookies are made with holiday edition chocolate chips, but white chocolate chips can be used instead. First flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt are mixed together. Then in another bowl sugar and cream cheese are mixed together before adding butter, oil, milk and vanilla. Next the flour mixture is added to the wet ingredients. Funfetti chips are folded into the dough. The dough is scooped into balls and rolled in sugar before baking. These cookies are a perfect edition to your Christmas baking, if they last long enough.

In a small bowl, combine 2 ¼ cup flour, ¾ tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda and ¼ tsp salt. Set aside. Then in a large mixer bowl, combine 1 ½ cup granulated sugar and 2 oz cream cheese until mixed through. Next add 7 tbsp melted and cooled butter, ¼ cup oil, 1 egg, 1 tbsp milk and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix thoroughly.

Gradually beat in the flour mixture.

Stir in 1 bag (9 oz) Nestle Toll House Funfetti Morsels. (These are a special holiday edition, white chocolate chips can be substituted.)

Drop by rounded tablespoon into granulated sugar for coating and toss to coat each cookie. Then transfer cookie onto ungreased cookie sheet. (I use granulated sprinkles instead of sugar to coat the cookies.)

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until cookies are just cooked through.

Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes; remove and place on wire racks to cool completely.
