Easy Cheese Bomb Bread

I stole this recipe for Easy Cheese Bomb Bread from averiecooks.com. These cheesy rolls start with refrigerated biscuits. The biscuits are removed from the packing tube and are slightly flattened. A cheese square goes on top of the biscuit, and then the biscuit is wrapped around the cheese. After placing the biscuit rolls on a baking sheet, they are baked for 10 minutes. A mixture of melted butter and spices is brushed on top after baking. These rolls are great with a soup, stew, chili or anytime you want some cheesy goodness!

Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside. Separate biscuits from a tube (16 oz) of refrigerated biscuit dough and put ½ oz mozzarella cheese cube(s) in the center of each biscuit.

Then wrap the dough around the cheese and seal. Place on baking sheet seam side down. Repeat for all biscuits. (You can use plain biscuits are cheese biscuits that have cheese pieces in the dough.)

Bake the rolls for 10 minutes or until very lightly golden brown. Next, in a small microwave safe bowl, add 4 tbsp butter and heat on high to melt, 30 to 60 seconds. Then add 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp garlic powder and ½ tsp salt, and then stir to combine.

Next, as soon as the rolls are removed from oven, generously brush with butter mixture. (Doing this step while the rolls are hot is best, the butter mixture absorbs quickly.)

Repeat for all of the rolls. (Keep the rolls on the cookie sheet while you do this step to help with the butter mess.)

Lastly, garnish all of the rolls with 2 tbsp parsley.

Serve immediately and enjoy the cheese bomb!

Recipe Notes

I use the refrigerated biscuits that have cheese in them for more cheesy goodness.
