Instant Pot Ground Beef Lazy Lasagna

I stole this recipe for Instant Pot Ground Beef Lazy Lasagna from sixsistersstuff.com. This yummy pasta recipe tastes just like lasagna but is quick and easy to make in a pressure cooker. First ground beef is sautéed in the pressure cooker with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Then the uncooked pasta is placed on top of the cooked meat. Next beef broth and spaghetti sauce are poured on top of the noodles without mixing. The pasta cooks in the pressure cooker for 4 minutes. Once the steam is released sour cream and mozzarella cheese are stirred into the sauce until the cheeses are melted. Then the pasta is serving with Parmesan cheese. This delicious pasta tastes like lasagna without having to use the oven.

The ingredients for this recipe are: 1 lb ground beef, ½ tsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, 12 oz bow tie pasta or other short pasta, 2 cups beef broth, 26 oz spaghetti sauce, ½ cup sour cream, ¾ cup mozzarella cheese and ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Press the sauté function on the pressure cooker and when heated, add ground beef, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

Cook until ground beef is no longer pink. Drain grease if desired.

Dump uncooked pasta on top of the meat and spread evenly.

Pour the beef broth on top of the pasta, covering as much (if not all) of the pasta as possible. Then pour the spaghetti sauce on top of the pasta. Do not mix.

Place the lid on top of the Instant Pot and then seal. Turn on the pressure cook and set timer for 4 minutes. Quick release and remove the lid.

Stir in the sour cream and mozzarella cheese. Mix until the cheeses are melted and smooth.

Dish and serve with Parmesan cheese.
