Ranch Pork Chops

I stole this recipe for Ranch Pork Chops from saltandlavendar.com. These delicious pork chops are easy to make. First pork chops are seasoned with salt and pepper, then seared in a skillet. Then butter is melted in a skillet and mixed with flour and chicken broth. Once the flour is dissolved dry ranch seasoning mix is added to the sauce. Next the pork chops are added to the sauce and served with the sauce. The ranch seasoning makes this sauce extra tasty and good enough for a picky eater.

The ingredients for this recipe are: 4 pork chops, pepper, ½ tsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp olive oil, 3 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp flour, 1 ¼ cups chicken broth, 1 tbsp dry ranch seasoning and 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Season the pork chops with pepper and garlic powder. Add the olive oil and 1 tbsp butter to a skillet over medium-high heat. Then add the pork chops to the skillet.

Cook for 3 to 5 minutes per side until golden.

Transfer the pork to a plate or platter and set aside.

Reduce the heat to medium. Then add the remaining butter to the skillet and once it’s melted, stir in the flour and cook for about a minute.

Slowly whisk in the broth until the flour has been dissolved. Next whisk in the dry ranch dressing mix.

Add the pork to the pan along with any juices on the plate. Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes or until the pork is cooked through and the sauce has thickened up a bit more. Return the pork with the sauce to the platter for serving.

Serve the pork chops with the sauce and enjoy!
