Funfetti Cake Mix Cookie Bars

I stole this recipe for Funfetti Cake Mix Cookie Bars from kathrynskitchenblog.com. These delicious cookie bars are easy to make and a pretty dessert. Funfetti cake mix is combined with butter, eggs, vanilla and sprinkles. Then the batter is spread into a baking pan. After baking and cooling, canned frosting is spread on top. Next additional sprinkles are sprinkled on top before cutting into bars. These cookie bars can be cut into any size, even cake size.

The ingredients for this recipe are: 1 box funfetti cake mix, ½ cup butter, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles and 1 tub vanilla frosting

In a large bowl mix together the cake mix, butter, eggs and vanilla until combined.

Then fold in the sprinkles, be sure not to over mix.

Transfer batter to a greased 9×13 baking dish.

Bake at 350 F for 13 to 16 minutes. Each oven is different, so keep an eye to not overbake. Bars should be soft when taken out of the oven.

Let the bars cool. Once cooled, spread bars with frosting, about half of a can.

Top with additional sprinkles.

Then cut into squares and enjoy.
