Classic Tartar Sauce

I stole this recipe for Classic Tartar Sauce from dinnerthendessert.com. This homemade tartar sauce is so easy to make, you won’t miss the store bought version. Mayonnaise is mixed with minced onions and pickles. Then pickle juice from the pickle jar is stirred into the mixture. Next the tartar sauce is refrigerator for several hours for best flavor. You won’t believe how much flavor this easy to make sauce has!

The ingredients for this recipe are: 2 cups mayonnaise, 2 tbsp dill pickles, 2 tbsp pickle juice and 2 tbsp minced onion

Mince the onion into as small pieces as possible.

Then in a small bowl mix together the onions with mayonnaise, minced pickles and pickle juice from the pickle jar.

Stir everything together and cover the bowl. Chill in refrigerator for at least 2 to 3 hours for the best flavor. This recipe for Classic Tartar Sauce is a perfect sauce for Fish and Fries.
