Air Fryer Mushrooms

I stole this recipe for Air Fryer Mushrooms from sundaysuppermovement.com. This delicious recipe is an easy way to start using the new air-fryer you got for a present this holiday season. First a mixture is made with breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Next the mushrooms are tossed in flour, dunked in whisked eggs and finally tossed with the breadcrumb mixture. Once the air-fryer is hot, the mushrooms are placed in the basket. The mushrooms are cooked for seven minutes, turning once while cooking. This vegetable recipe is so delicious you won’t have to wait for everyone to eat it.

The ingredients for this recipe are: 8 oz package mushrooms, ½ cup flour, 3 eggs, 1 ½ cups Panko breadcrumbs, 1 ½ tsp garlic powder, 1 ½ tsp onion powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, ¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp pepper

Pour breadcrumbs into a bowl, add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Stir until combined.

Wipe excess dirt from mushrooms using a towel. Pour flour onto a plate. Whisk eggs in a bowl. Toss the mushrooms in the flour until coated and then dunk in the eggs.

Next toss them in the breadcrumb mixture until coated.

Turn air fryer on and set to 360 F. Once hot, place mushrooms into basket, spray mushrooms with non-stick spray.

Cook for 7 minutes.

Cook in batches, do not overcrowd basket. Cooked mushrooms can be placed on a baking sheet and kept warm in the oven.
