I stole this recipe for Chocolate Caramel Chex Mix from devourdinner.com. This delicious snack mix starts with chocolate Chex cereal. Butter, brown sugar and corn syrup are mixed together in a bowl then microwaved before adding baking soda. Then the butter mixture is poured over the cereal. After coating the cereal it is spread onto a baking sheet to cool. Marshmallows are added to the coated cereal, then melted caramel and chocolate chips are drizzled on top. Once cool the mixture is broken into pieces and enjoyed. You will be able to smell and taste all the chocolatey goodness in this snack mix.

The ingredients for this recipe are: 8 cups chocolate Chex Mix, 6 tbsp butter, ¾ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup corn syrup, ¼ tsp baking soda, 1 cup marshmallows, ½ cup caramel bits, ½ cup white chocolate chips, ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 tbsp whipping cream

Measure 8 cups cereal into microwave safe bowl. Set aside.

In a smaller microwave safe bowl, place butter, brown sugar and corn syrup.

Then microwave for 2 minutes. Stirring after 1 minute. Stir in baking soda until dissolved.

Next pour mixture over cereal to coat evenly. Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute. This helps to fully coat the cereal.

Spread onto a lined baking sheet to cool. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows over cereal.

Then in a small microwave safe bowl, melt caramel bits with whipping cream in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir every minute. Stir until smooth, drizzle over cereal mixture.

Next in a separate bowl microwave chocolate chips for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over cereal mixture.
