The ingredients for this recipe are: 1 box Strawberry cake mix (plus ingredients needed for cake), ½ cup butter, 4 oz cream cheese, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 ½ cup powdered sugar and 16 oz white candy melts

In a medium bowl add the cake mix and ingredients on the box instructions.

Then bake according to box instructions in a 9×13 baking pan. Let cake cool at room temperature.

While the cake is cooling, beat the butter and cream cheese together in a large bowl until smooth and fluffy.

Then add in vanilla extract.

Next slowly add in the powdered sugar until it’s all combined and smooth.

Remove the cake from the pan. Crumble up the cake into a large bowl. Then add approximately 1 to 1 ½ cups frosting to the crumbled cake and stir everything together until well combined.

Mixture will be moist but still able to form into balls. Shape mixture into 24 to 36 cake balls and place on a lined cookie sheet.

Put the white candy melts in small microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Then continue to heat in 30 seconds intervals stirring between each one until the candy melts are fully melted and creamy. Dip each cake ball into the melted candy melts.

Make sure the candy covers the cake pops completely. Place the cake pops on a lined cookie sheet. Let the cake pop dry and solidify. Add sprinkles or additional colored candy melts.

Once the cake pops are dry, they are ready to serve and enjoy!
