Slow Cooker Sweet Corn Dip

I stole this recipe for Slow Cooker Sweet Corn Dip from slowcookergourmet.net. This dip is easy to make and a perfect holiday appetizer or for any game day snack. In a bowl combine a bag of frozen corn, diced jalapeno, chive and onion cream cheese, garlic powder and shredded cheddar cheese. Then the corn mixture is added to a small slow cooker. After cooking for a few hours, this delicious corn dip is ready to serve.

The ingredients for this recipe are: 16 oz bag frozen sweet corn, 1 diced jalapeno, 8 oz chive and onion flavored cream cheese, ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese, ½ cup shredded Monterrey Jack cheese and ½ tsp garlic powder

First mix the ingredients together in a bowl. Canned green chiles can be substituted for the fresh jalapeno.

Then place all ingredients in a 2 to 3 quart slow cooker.

Next cook on LOW until melted, 2 to 3 hours.

Scoop and then serve with your favorite chips. Frito’s scoops are great for scooping this dip.

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a 2 to 3 quart slow cooker.
  2. Cook on LOW until melted, 2 to 3 hours.
  3. Serve with your favorite chips.
