Taco Dip

I stole this recipe for Taco Dip from dinneratthezoo.com. This easy to make dip is perfect for any game day. Softened cream cheese is mixed with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Then sour cream and taco seasoning is added. Next the mixture is spread into a dish. Shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and green onions is sprinkled on top before serving. This dip can be made ahead and refrigerated until serving with your favorite chips. Just make sure you have enough chips!

Place an 8 oz brick of softened cream cheese in a bowl.

Then beat with an electric mixer for 1 to 2 minutes until light and fluffy.

Next add 2 cups sour cream and beat until well combined.

Add 1 packet of taco seasoning and mix for another 30 seconds.

Spread the creamy mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch dish. Then sprinkle 1 ½ cups shredded cheese on top.

Next add 1 cup shredded lettuce, ½ cup diced tomatoes, ½ cup sliced black olives and 2 tbsp sliced green onions.

Serve with tortilla chips.

  • Tortilla chips

  3. Spread the creamy mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch dish.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, olives and green onions over the creamy layer.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips.
