Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops

I stole this recipe for Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops from theslowroasteditalian.com. A slow cooker does all the work in this easy to make recipe. Pork chops are placed in a slow cooker. Cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, basil and black pepper are mixed together. Then chicken broth is folded into the mixture. Next the creamy sauce is poured over the pork chops and cooked for several hours. The cooked pork chops are tender and served with the delicious sauce.

The ingredients for this recipe are: 15 oz can cream of mushroom soup, 4 oz cream cheese, 2 tbsp dried parsley, 1 tsp dried dill, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, ½ tsp dried basil, ½ tsp black pepper, ⅓ cup chicken broth and 4 to 6 boneless pork chops

Place pork chops in the bottom of a 6 quart crock pot and arrange in an even layer. (I add sliced mushrooms in first then place the pork chops on top.)

Then in a medium bowl, add cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, dried parsley, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, and black pepper.

Use a hand mixer to mix ingredients on low until only small clumps of cream cheese remain, 2-4 minutes. Next add chicken broth to bowl and fold in until absorbed. Pour ranch mixture on top of the pork chops, spread until the top of the pork chops are covered.

Cover crock pot and cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours.

Gently remove the pork chops from the slow cooker and serve with the gravy.
