Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops

A slow cooker does all the work in this easy to make recipe. Pork chops are placed in a slow cooker. Cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, basil and black pepper are mixed together. Then chicken broth is folded into the mixture. Next the creamy sauce is poured over the pork chops and cooked for several hours. The cooked pork chops are tender and served with the delicious sauce.

Ingredients

  • 15 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried basil

  • Parsley for garnish
  • Cooked rice or pasta for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, add cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, dried parsley, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, and black pepper. Use a hand mixer to mix ingredients on low until only small clumps of cream cheese remain, 2-4 minutes.
  2. Add chicken broth to bowl and fold in until absorbed, about 2-4 minutes.
  3. Place pork chops in the bottom of a 6 quart crock pot and arrange in an even layer. Pour ranch mixture on top, spread until the top of the pork chops are covered.
  4. Cover crock pot and cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours.
  5. Serve on a bed of rice or pasta and garnish with parsley.

Recipe Notes

I substitute 1 packet of dry ranch dressing for some of the spices. Also I place sliced fresh mushrooms in the bottom of the slow cooker under the pork chops.
