I stole this recipe for Easy Strawberry Cake Bars from pipanddebby.com. Strawberry cake mix is the start for these yummy cake bars. The cake mix is combined with melted butter, evaporated milk and vanilla. Then two-thirds of the batter is spread into a baking dish. Next the pan is baked for 8 minutes. White chocolate chips are sprinkled on top and strawberry jam is dropped on top of the chips in small dollops. Then the remaining batter is dropped on top evenly over the chips and jam. The pan is baked for an additional 20 minutes. These delicious cake bars can also be called strawberry brownies are easy enough for kids to make themselves, minus the egg shells.
