Lemon BBQ Grilled Chicken

I stole this recipe for Lemon BBQ Grilled Chicken from plainchicken.com. This delicious grilling recipe gets it flavor from the marinade. Vegetable oil, lemon juice, salt, paprika, basil, onion powder, thyme and garlic powder are whisked together in a small bowl. Then the marinade is poured over chicken. Next the chicken is marinated several hours or overnight. The chicken grilled for 12 to 15 minutes until fully cooked. This chicken smells so good while grilling, you might have extra visitors.

The ingredients for this recipe are: 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts, 1 cup vegetable oil, ½ cup lemon juice, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tsp paprika, 2 tsp dried basil, 2 tsp onion powder, ½ tsp dried thyme leaves and 1 tsp garlic powder

Add the oil, lemon juice and spices to a small bowl.

Then whisk well to combine.

Lightly pound the chicken with a meat mallet or rolling pin to an even thickness. Place chicken in ziplock bag. Pour marinade over chicken.

Remove chicken from marinade 1 hour before grilling. Discard marinade. Prepare grill and then add the chicken.

Next grill chicken until done, approximately 12 to 15 minutes, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 F.

Remove the cooked chicken to a platter as each piece is finished.

Serve and enjoy!
