White chocolate, butter, lemon curd and lemon extract are cooked in a saucepan until the chocolate is melted. Then the chocolate mixture is poured over chex cereal in a large bowl. The mixture is stirred until the cereal is coated with the chocolate. Powdered sugar is added to the cereal mixture and stirred to coat, more sugar is added to fully coat the cereal. Then the cereal mixture is spread onto a cookie sheet to cool, then sprinkled with more powdered sugar. This recipe has easy to follow instructions, the hardest part is trying to open the cereal box.
The ingredients for this recipe are: 8 cups Rice Chex cereal, 1 cup white chocolate chips or candy melts, ¼ cup lemon curd, ¼ cup butter, ½ tsp lemon extract and 2 cups powdered sugar
Add the cereal to a large mixing bowl.
Then add white chocolate, butter, lemon curd and lemon extract to a small saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly.
Pour the melted lemon mixture over cereal, stirring to coat.
Cool slightly, then add half of the powdered sugar.
Stir to coat with powdered sugar then add remaining powdered sugar and stir again.
Once the cereal is fully coat, spread out on cookie sheet lined with wax paper to cool.
Cool completely, sprinkle with additional powdered sugar as desired.

Pour cereal into a large paper bag (grocery size) and pour melted lemon mixture over cereal. Fold the bag to seal and shake to coat cereal.

Cool slightly, then add half of the powdered sugar to bag and shake to coat.

Add remaining powdered sugar and shake to coat.

Spread out on cookie sheet to cool. Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar as desired.
