First butter and sugar are creamed together with an electric mixer. Then vanilla, an egg, water, cocoa powder and chocolate pudding mix are added. Next in a separate bowl flour, baking soda and salt are whisked together. The wet ingredients are added before folding in M&Ms and sprinkles. After refrigerating the dough, the cookies are baked with additional sprinkles and M&Ms. These cookies are a perfect way to refill an empty cookie jar.

Line a cookie sheet with silicone mat or parchment paper. First cream ½ cup butter, ⅔ cup packed brown sugar and ¼ cup granulated sugar in a stand mixer. Mix in 1 tsp vanilla, 1 egg and 1 tbsp water.

Then add 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder and 3 oz box Instant chocolate pudding mix and mix until smooth.

Whisk together 1 ¼ cup flour, ½ tsp baking soda and ¼ tsp salt. Next add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

Then fold in 1 ¼ cups Valentine’s M&Ms and ¼ cup Valentine sprinkles.

Scoop ball of dough onto prepared cookie sheet. Press a few more M&Ms on top. Cover with plastic wrap and then chill the cookies for at least 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare a second cookie sheet and place cookies 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes or closer to 11-12 minutes. Cool cookies on cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely. Once cooled, drizzle with melted candy melts for additional decoration.
