Firecracker Cake

I stole this recipe for Firecracker Cake from thebestcakes.com who stole it from ilovebakedgoods.com. This festive cake starts with boxed cake mix. White cake mix is made according to the box, then 1 cup is dyed red and another cup is dyed blue. The remaining cake mix stays white. Red batter is poured in the bottom of a bundt pan, then white batter is poured on top and next the blue batter. The cake is baked and cooled. A container of white frosting is also split up and dyed red and blue. The frosting is melted and drizzled over the cake and top with sprinkles. The red, white and blue colors of this bundt cake make it perfect for 4th of July or Memorial Day. Different colors can be used for other holidays.
