Juicy Grilled Texas Pork Chops

Olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and spices are whisked together. Then the pork chops are marinated for 2 hours. The ingredients for this recipe are: 4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick), 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, ½ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce and 1 tsp fresh thyme

In a medium bowl, add together olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and thyme.

Then whisk until sugar dissolves and spices blend evenly.

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Then add them to the marinade and coat thoroughly, massaging the marinade into the meat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400 F). Clean and oil the grill to prevent sticking. Place the pork chops on the hottest part of the grill.

Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, flipping once, until grill marks form and internal temperature reaches 145 F. Avoid pressing down on the chops.

Remove the chops from the grill and tent with foil. Let rest for 5 minutes to redistribute juices.

Serve whole or sliced against the grain.
