I stole this recipe for Slow Cooker Carne Asada from slowcookergourmet.net. This slow cooker recipe makes tender and juicy carne asada. Flank steak is added to a slow cooker. Then olive oil, orange juice, lime juice, cilantro, chili powder, cumin and honey are whisked together. Next the mixture is poured over the steak. The slow cooker is covered and cooks for several hours until tender. Once cooked the steak is sliced against the grain and served as desired. You can use the leftover carne asada however you want to.

The ingredients for this recipe are: 3 lbs flank steak, ¼ cup olive oil, ¼ cup orange juice, 2 tbsp lime juice, 1 tsp chopped cilantro, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin and 1 tbsp honey
