Devil’s food cake mix is mixed with egg, vanilla, butter and sour cream. Then the dough is scooped into dough balls. Next the dough is rolled in Halloween sprinkles. The cookies are placed on a baking sheet and flattened slightly with a cup. After baking and cooling, the cookies are drizzled with orange candy melts and topped with more sprinkles. The ingredients for this recipe are: 15.25 oz Duncan Hines Devil’s Food Cake Mix, 1 large egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ¼ cup butter, 1 tbsp sour cream and Halloween sprinkles

Mix together cake mix, egg, vanilla, softened butter and sour cream.

Batter will be thick.

Scoop into 1 ½ inch dough balls, then roll in sprinkles.

Place dough balls 2 inches apart on prepared sheets. Then use the bottom of a cup to flatten cookies.

Bake 7 to 8 minutes, cool on cookie sheets for 5 minutes. Transfer to cooling rack to cool completely. Drizzle cooled cookies with orange candy melts and more sprinkles.
