Olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper are whisked together in a bowl. Then the marinade is poured over the chicken and refrigerated. Next the chicken is grilled, then rested before serving. This chicken can be a main entree or cut up for a salad or pasta dish. I found this tasty recipe post online and it had so many likes, I had to try it.
The ingredients for this recipe are: 2 lbs chicken breasts, ⅓ to ½ cup olive oil, 3 tbsp lemon juice, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, ¼ cup brown sugar, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 3 garlic cloves, 1 ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper and parsley
In a bowl stir together oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic (or ½ tsp garlic powder), salt and pepper.
Pierce the chicken with a fork all over the pieces and then place in a Ziploc bag. Pour the marinade over chicken.
Let the chicken marinade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, but 4 to 5 hours is ideal. Preheat the grill to medium heat. Remove the chicken from the bag and place on grill.
Cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side, depending on the thickness. The internal temperature should be 165 F.
Remove the chicken from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
