I stole this recipe for Hissy Fit Breakfast Bubble Up from plainchicken.com. This tasty breakfast casserole can be assembled the night before serving. First breakfast sausage is cooked in a skillet. Then refrigerated biscuits are quartered and placed in the bottom of a baking dish. Cooked breakfast sausage and shredded cheese is sprinkled on top of the biscuits. Next eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper are mixed together and poured over the cheese, sausage and biscuits. Then the casserole is baked until golden and served. This casserole is so good, you don’t have to save it for a special occasion.
The ingredients for this recipe are: 1 lb breakfast sausage, 2 (6 oz) can refrigerated biscuits, 6 large eggs, 1 ¼ cup milk, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup shredded muenster cheese, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, ¼ tsp garlic powder, ¼ tsp onion powder, salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray. In a large skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
Quarter biscuits and then place in bottom on the baking pan.
Whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Then sprinkle the cooked and drained sausage over the biscuits.
Next add the shredded cheeses.
Pour the egg mixture over the cheese, sausage and biscuits.
Bake for 35-45 minutes, until golden brown.
Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
