Grilled Corn on the Cob

I stole this recipe for Grilled Corn on the Cob from eatingonadime.com. Grilling corn on the grill is a great addition to your barbecue. This recipe is easy to follow. Wrapping the corn in foil is the secret to not burning the outside of the corn before it is fully cooked. Also you can butter and season the corn before wrapping it in the foil, so the seasonings absorb while cooking. You can prep the corn in advance and put it on the grill when ready to cook with the rest of your meal.

Did you know? The corn cob first reached Europe when Columbus brought it back with him to Spain after his trip to the Americas.⁴ (see more trivia in the Trivia tab)

Cut foil pieces, lay 2 mini corn cobs on a foil piece. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, pepper and garlic salt.

Roll up foil. Repeat with remaining corn. Place foil packets on grill over medium heat.

Grill for 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Carefully unwrap foil packets.

Place grilled corn in a serving dish and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Serve with melted butter if desired.
