Breakfast Casserole with Bacon

I stole this recipe for Breakfast Casserole with Bacon from comfortablefood.com. This delicious breakfast casserole is perfect for a weekend breakfast or brunch. Bacon slices are cooked and crumbled. Bread is cubed and placed in a casserole dish and topped with the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese. Then eggs, milk and salt are whisked together in a bowl. Next the egg mixture is poured over everything in the pan then covered and refrigerated overnight. The casserole bakes in the morning for 1 hour before serving. The ingredients for this recipe are: 6 large eggs, 2 cups milk, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp dry mustard, 9 slices bread, 12 slices bacon and 1 cup cheddar cheese

Cook the bacon over medium heat until fully cooked.

Place the cooked bacon on a paper towel lined plate to absorb the grease.

Add the eggs to a medium bowl.

Then add milk, salt and mustard to the eggs.

Grease a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray. Spread the bread cubes in the bottom of baking dish. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
