First flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and allspice are mixed together. Then sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla extract are whisked together and added to the dry ingredients. Next chopped apples are added to batter before pouring into a baking pan. The cake is baked and cooled. The ingredients for this recipe are: 2 cups AP flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp ground cinnamon, ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp ground nutmeg, 2 cups granulated sugar, ½ cup vegetable oil, 2 large eggs, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 4 cups chopped peeled apples, ¼ cup chopped pecan, 8 oz cream cheese,4 tbsp butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 2 cups powdered sugar
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and allspice. Set aside.
Then in another large bowl, whisk together the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla extract.
Slowly stir in the flour mixture.
Stir in apples until the cake batter moistens.
Pour the batter into a sprayed and floured 9×13 baking pan.
Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and set.
While the cake is cooling, in a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is completely smooth. Add the butter and beat until combined.
Next add the vanilla and powdered sugar and beat until smooth 1 minute.
Frost the cooled cake with the cream cheese frosting.
Cut into pieces and serve. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.

Cream Cheese Frosting
- 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
- 4 tbsp butter at room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray and flour a 9×13 baking pan. Set aside.
