I stole this recipe for Crockpot Italian Pork Roast from thefamilyfreezer.com. This one of the easiest to make slow cooker recipes. First pork roast is seared in a skillet, then placed in a slow cooker. In a small bowl tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic, parsley, basil, oregano, black pepper and salt are mixed together. The tomato mixture is poured over the pork. Next the pork is cooked in the slow cooker on low for several hours. After cooking, the pork is sliced and served with the tomato sauce. This recipe is another wonderful slow cooker recipe.
Did you know? Also called a crockpot, the slow cooker is and electric “casserole” that cooks food with low, steady, moist heat. It’s designed to cook food over a period of 8 to 12 hours.¹ (see more trivia in the Trivia tab)
