I stole this recipe for Double Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies from sixsistersstuff.com. Two types of chocolate combine with marshmallow bits to make these yummy cookies! Butter is creamed together with granulated and brown sugars. Egg, vanilla, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt are added in next. Chocolate chips and marshmallow bits are folded into the batter before forming the cookies. The baked cookie is full of chocolate and marshmallow goodness. No weird cookie flavors here!
December 4th is National Cookie Day and making Double Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies or any other cookie recipe I’ve posted is a great way to celebrate (to see more Food Holidays see the National Food Holidays category or look at the Food Holiday Calendar).
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, cream 1 ¼ cups softened butter, 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup brown sugar together.
Beat in 2 eggs and 2 tsp vanilla.
Next add 2 cups flour, ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tsp baking soda and ½ tsp salt to the bowl.
Mix ingredients together until a dough forms. Fold in 2 cups chocolate chips and 1 cup marshmallow bits.
Drop heaping tbsp of dough onto a large baking sheet.
Bake cookies for 8 – 9 minutes.
Let cookies cool on baking sheet for about 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack to finish cooling. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes
I used a small cookie scoop and my yield was 84 cookies. 12 cookies were cooked per pan. Make sure to use marshmallow bits (like Jet-Puff near the hot chocolate in the grocery store) not mini marshmallows.
