I stole this recipe for Mississippi Sin Sandwiches from annsentitledlife.com who stole it from Kathelynn at copykat.com. This sandwich recipe is a great way to use up leftover ham from Easter. Chopped ham is mixed with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, green chiles and green onions. The ham mixture is spread in the middle of a French bread loaf. After baking the cheeses and sour cream melt into the bread to make this gooey sandwich. A twist on the normal ham sandwich made from leftovers.
In a large bowl add 2 cups grated cheddar cheese, 8 oz cream cheese, 1 ½ cups sour cream, 1 cup chopped ham, ⅓ cup canned green chiles (mild) and ⅓ cup minced green onions.
Stir well to combine.
Slice 1 loaf French bread down the middle. Put ham mixture in bread bottom, top with top piece.
Cover entire loaf with foil. Bake 350 F for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and unwrap foil.
Slice into desired sandwich sizes.
