Slow Cooker Crack Chicken

The slow cooker does all the work for you on this yummy recipe. Chicken in placed in a slow cooker. Ranch dressing mix is sprinkled on top and dotted with cream cheese. After cooking, the chicken is shredded and mayonnaise, bacon and cheddar cheese is mixed in. After mixing in green onions, this sandwich is ready to serve on a bun with lettuce and tomatoes, it is addicting!

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 package (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 lb bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Big handful of chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in crock pot. Sprinkle with ranch dressing mix and place cream cheese on top. Cook on LOW 6 hours. Remove chicken and shred chicken with 2 forks and add it back to the slow cooker and stir in mayonnaise and cooked bacon and sprinkle with cheese. Replace lid and cook on LOW for 15 more minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with green onions and serve on rolls or crackers.

Recipe Notes

You can also substitute reduced fat cream cheese and cheddar cheese. Serve this on rolls with lettuce and sliced tomato. It’s messy, but yummy!
