This beautiful cake is perfect for Christmas. Yellow cake mix, flour, sugar, sour cream, vegetable oil, water, mayonnaise, eggs and vanilla are beaten together in a bowl. Then 2 cups of the batter is mixed with cocoa powder and red food coloring. The batters are poured into a bundt pan by alternating the two batters in the pan. Next the cake is baked and cooled, then drizzled with a mixture of powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. The finished cake has a pretty marbled effect when sliced.

1box classic yellow cake mixDuncan Hines
1cupAP flour
1cupgranulated sugar
¾cupsour creamroom temperature
½cupvegetable oil
½cupwater
¼cupmayonnaise

1tbspcocoa powder

3tbsp+ 1 tsp milk

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan. (Crisco) Set aside.
Place all ingredients except cocoa powder and red food coloring in a large bowl. Mix on low with an electric mixer until combined. Then turn speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes. Transfer 2 cups of batter to a medium bowl, stir in cocoa and food coloring.
Pour a third of the plain batter evenly in the prepared pan. Gently scoop half of the red batter on top, distributing evenly. Use a spatula to smooth slightly. Continue layering batters in pan as directed above until all batter is used.
Bake in preheated oven to 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cool completely, about 1 hour. Remove from pan onto serving platter and drizzle with vanilla glaze.

In a large bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth.
