This dessert is perfect for Thanksgiving. First pureed pumpkin is mixed with evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, salt, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice. Then the mixture is poured into a baking dish and dry cake mix is sprinkled on top of the pumpkin mixture. Next melted butter is poured over the cake mix and chopped nuts are sprinkled on top. The cake is baked until brown and set, then served warm.

Ingredients
15ozcan pureed pumpkin
12ozcan evaporated milk
1 ½cupsgranulated sugar
3eggsbeaten
½tspsalt
1tspground cinnamon
1tsppumpkin pie spice
1yellow cake mix
1cupbuttermelted
1cupchopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9x13 baking dish and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, salt, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice. Pour into prepared pan.
Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the entire pumpkin mixture. Be sure to use all of the cake mix. Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Top with chopped nuts. Bake for 55 minutes, until the top begins to brown and set. Serve warm or cold.
