This recipe for Homemade Toaster Strudels is way better than any store bought packaged strudels. A berry jam (of your choice) is mixed in a small bowl with cornstarch. Then puff pastry sheets are cut into six equal rectangles. Next the jam mixture is spread in the center of each rectangle. An egg wash is brushed on the edges before topping with a second rectangle. After baking, the strudels are cooled slightly and drizzled with a delicious homemade icing.
