Grilled Pork Tenderloin

A tasty marinade is the secret to this delicious grilled pork tenderloin. Olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper and garlic are combined in a small bowl. Then the marinade is poured over the pork to marinate for several hours. Next the pork is grilled for about 15 minutes, then sliced and served. This recipe is a delicious and easy way to grill this barbecue season.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ lbs pork tenderloin
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 ½ tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp parsley leaves
  • 1 tbsp thyme leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Place the pork in a bowl or resealable gallon sized bag.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper and garlic.
  3. Pour the marinade over the meat. Marinate for at least 1 hour or up to 8 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the pork on the grill. Cook for 15-18 minutes, turning occasionally, until the interior of the pork registers 145 F on a meat thermometer.
  5. Let the meat rest for 5 minutes, top with additional parsley, then slice and serve.

I double the marinade and use for basting while cooking.
