French Apple Pie

This delicious fall pie starts with an unbaked pie shell (store bought or homemade). Then the filling is made with sliced apples, lemon juice, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Next the filling is placed in the pie shell, making a mound in the middle. A streusel topping is made with flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter. The streusel is sprinkled over the apples before baking until the apples are tender.
