Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 ¼ cup ditalini pasta uncooked
  • 2 cups chicken broth plus 1 additional cup if needed
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup heavy cream plus ¼ cup if needed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Black pepper
  • Parsley minced

Instructions

  1. Add olive oil and garlic paste to a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat until the garlic is fragrant and beginning to brown.
  2. Add in pasta and stir to coat.
  3. Pour in chicken broth (enough to cover the pasta) and add salt. Stir frequently to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  4. Once most of the broth has been absorbed (but not all) and the pasta is al dente (about 8 minutes), add the Parmesan cheese, heavy cream and butter, stirring until the cheese has melted.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with parsley. Enjoy immediately.
