Crab Rangoon Wonton Cups

This recipe is easy to make and great for a crowd. Wonton wrappers are placed in muffin cups and baked for ten minutes. Then cream cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce are mixed together. Chopped crab meat is added to the cream cheese mixture. Next the mixture is spooned into the baked shells before baking for an additional eight minutes. The finished cups are served with green onions and sweet chili sauce.

Ingredients

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 12 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 4 oz crab or 1 can lump crab drained
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Spray muffin pan with cooking spray.
  3. Place 1 wonton wrapper in each muffin cup, bake for 10 minutes until edges begin to brown.
  4. Remove from oven and cool slightly.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, 1 sliced green onion, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Stir well.
  6. Finely chop crab meat or use a food processor. Stir crab meat into cream cheese mixture.
  7. Spoon into baked shells.
  8. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes.
  9. Top with green onions.
  10. Serve with sweet and sour sauce or sweet chili sauce.

Recipe Notes

The sour cream can be omitted from this recipe.
