This flavorful recipe is a quick and easy option for a weeknight meal. Chopped chicken is sautéed in a skillet. The chicken is set aside, then onions, mushrooms, garlic and ginger cook in the skillet. Next coleslaw mix is added with soy sauce and black pepper. Everything cooks until the cabbage is wilted. The chicken is added to the skillet with green onions, sesame seeds and hoisin sauce. Additional green onions and sesame seeds are sprinkled on top before serving.

Ingredients
1 to 2tbspsesame oil
1 to 2tbspolive oil
1lbchicken
1small onion
3 to 4garlic clovesminced
1tspground ginger
16ozbag coleslaw mix
½cupsoy sauce
½tspblack pepper
½tspsalt
3green onionssliced
1tbspsesame seeds
Hoison sauce or soy sauce for serving
Instructions
In a large skillet add the oils, chicken and cook over medium-high heat until done, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Add the chopped onion and cook for 5 minutes or until tender; stir occasionally.
Add the garlic, ginger and cook 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add the coleslaw mix, evenly drizzle the soy sauce and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for 5 minutes, or until cabbage is wilted and tender.
Evenly sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds and sauces.

Finely chopped or sliced mushrooms can be added with the onions.
