These fancy looking muffins are actually very easy to make. Dough from a tube of crescent rolls is rolled out. Then a mixture of butter, chives and garlic is spread onto the dough. Next shredded cheese is sprinkled on top before the dough is cut and twisted. The twisted dough ball is placed in a muffin tin. Then repeated for the remaining dough. After the muffins are baked, they are brushed with melted butter.

Instructions
Dough
Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly spray a 12 cup muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
Working on a lightly floured work surface, roll out each tube of dough to a 12x16 inch rectangle.
Filling
In a medium bowl combine the butter, chives and garlic.
Spread about ⅓ of the butter mixture over the top of one sheet of dough.
Sprinkle 1 cup cheddar cheese evenly over the butter mixture.
Starting on the long end of the dough sheet, tightly roll it up into a log.
Cut the log in half width-wise, creating two logs.
Cut each log in half lengthwise, resulting in 4 sections.
Repeat with the remaining two sheet of dough, to make 12 sections.
Roll each section of dough with the layered side facing out, roll it tightly into a cinnamon roll shape, tucking in the end piece of dough.
Place into prepared muffin tin. Repeat with remaining 11 sections.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown. While the cruffins are baking, prepare the garlic butter.
Garlic butter
In a small bowl, whisk together the butter, garlic, chives and salt.
