I’ve gathered some recipes to help with planning for your Thanksgiving Meal. There is a recipe for roasted turkey, several stuffing recipes, some vegetable side dishes, homemade rolls and two dessert ideas. Hope this helps!
Roast Turkey Breast with Gravy
This recipe for Roast Turkey Breast is easy and straight forward. Celery, carrots and onions are used to cover the bottom of a roasting pan. A turkey breast is placed on top of the vegetables and rubbed with butter (yes, I said butter) and seasoned. The turkey is placed in the oven and roasted for about 2 hours. Making a turkey breast using this recipe helps keeps Thanksgiving stress free.
Stuffing
There are three kinds of stuffing listed below, they all use different bread options. Cornbread stuffing is a traditional recipe made with dried bread cubes, cooked vegetables and sage sausage added in with chicken broth before being baked. Broccoli stuffing is made with broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, seasonings and dried Stovetop stuffing mix. Carrot Mushroom Stuffing is a vegetarian option made with mushrooms, shredded carrots, green onions, soy sauce and croutons.
Vegetables
Four vegetable side dishes are listed below. The first option is Crock Pot Green Been Casserole where traditional green bean casserole gets made in a slow cooker. Twice Baked New Potatoes are new potatoes that are halved, hollowed out and stuffed with cream cheese, sour cream, cheese and spices before being baked. Roasted carrots is a simple but tasty recipe, carrots are tossed with olive oil and seasoning and roasted until tender. Broccoli Cauliflower casserole can be made easily with frozen vegetable that are covered with a cheese sauce and topped with breadcrumbs.

Bread
I have listed two different roll options. Both rolls are yeast breads and can be made early and warmed in the oven before serving. Potato rolls have mashed potatoes mixed into the dough to make a light roll. Featherlight Dinner Rolls are airy rolls made with an easy to follow recipe so you don’t have to be intimidated by using yeast.
Dessert
For dessert I included a cake and a cookie recipe. The cake layers for the pumpkin torte are made with pumpkin pie mixed with boxed cake mix. Orange cream filling is made with evaporated milk, orange juice and pumpkin pie mix. The finished cake is topped with whipped topping. Cookies that taste like pumpkin pie are another dessert option. Sugar cookie dough lines the bottom of muffin tins for the base of the cookie. Pumpkin filling goes on top and crumbled sugar cookie mix is sprinkled on top. These cookies are a great way to get pumpkin pie taste without making full pies.
