White Chocolate Monster Munch Chex Mix

This delicious snack mix is perfect for Halloween. In a large bowl pretzels, Cheerios, Chex cereal, peanuts and M&M’s are mixed together. Then white chocolate chips are melted in a microwave. Next the melted chocolate is poured over the cereal mixture and stirred until everything is fully coated. The mixture is spread onto wax paper lined baking sheet and left to cool. Once cooled, break apart any chunks before serving.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz pretzels
  • 2 ½ cups Honey Nut Cheerios
  • 2 ½ cups Corn Chex or Honey Nut Chex
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 2 cups M&M’s chocolate candies about 12 oz bag
  • 1 ½ cups candy corn
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips 12 oz bag
  • 1 ½ tbsp. vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a very large bowl, combine pretzels, cereal, peanuts & candy. Set aside.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips and oil on high for 60 seconds. Stirring every 20 to 30 seconds.
  3. Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal mixture and stir until all the cereal is evenly coated with white chocolate.
  5. Spread the cereal mixture on 2 large baking sheets line with wax paper.
  6. Let cool and then break apart in chunks.
  7. Store in airtight container.
