Strawberry Waffles

These delicious waffles have strawberries added to the batter. Flour, eggs, salt, baking powder, vanilla, strawberry jam, sugar, milk and butter are mixed together in a bowl. Then fresh diced strawberries are folded into the batter. After letting the batter sit for 10 minutes, a waffle iron is preheated. Next the batter is poured into the waffle maker and the waffle is cooked until golden. The finished waffles are served with more strawberries and syrup.
