Spinach Artichoke Bread

This tasty appetizer is basically spinach artichoke dip spread on some bread. The bread filling starts with mixing sour cream, mayo, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and minced garlic until smooth. Then artichoke hearts and spinach are mixed in next. A loaf of bread is sliced open lengthwise and the spinach artichoke mixture is spread on top. The bread halves are baked and then sliced and served warm.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 cup spinach frozen, thawed and drained
  • 8 oz artichoke hearts drained and chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 French bread loaf

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Mix sour cream, mayo, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and garlic until smooth. Stir in artichoke hearts and spinach.

  3. Place bread, cut sides up onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the bread slices. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, broiling for 1 minute.
  5. Serve warm.
