These pretzel bites are easy to make using canned biscuit dough. Each biscuit dough piece is cut into quarters and rolled into a ball. Then the dough balls are quickly boiled in a baking soda and water mixture. Next the dough is transferred to a baking sheet and brushed with a beaten egg and sprinkled with salt. The pretzels are baked until golden brown. Using the canned biscuit dough saves a lot of time instead of making a yeast dough, perfect for when you want a snack.

Ingredients
16.3ozcan refrigerated biscuit dough8 biscuits
4cupswater
ΒΌcupbaking soda
1eggbeaten
Coarse salt
Cheese Sauce:
2tbspbutter
2tbspflour
1cupmilk
2cupscheddar cheese
Salt/pepper
Cayenne pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
Quarter each biscuit; roll each piece into a ball. Use a knife to carve an X into each ball.
In medium saucepan, combine water and baking soda. Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer. Add dough balls and cook for 30 seconds, will float to top. Remove with slotted spoon and transfer to baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and then sprinkle with salt.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Cheese sauce:
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute. Stir in milk and bring to simmer. When milk thickens, stir in cheese, whisking constantly until smooth. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne.
