Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin with Honey Balsamic Glaze

The slow cooker does all the work for this delicious recipe. Chicken broth, honey, balsamic vinegar, ketchup and corn starch are mixed together and added to a slow cooker. Then garlic powder, parsley, salt, pepper, onion powder and paprika are whisked together in a small bowl. Next the spice mixture is rubbed onto pork tenderloins. The seasoned pork tenderloins are added to the slow cooker. After cooking several hours, then the pork is sliced and served with the sauce from the slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins 1 lb
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • cup chicken broth
  • 6 tbsp honey
  • 6 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 4 tsp corn starch

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together chicken broth, honey, balsamic vinegar, ketchup and corn starch and pour into the slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, onion powder and paprika. Rub all over sides of pork tenderloin and place in sprayed slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 ½ to 2 hours or on LOW 2 to 3 hours, until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part reads 150 to 160 F.
  4. Move tenderloin from the slow cooker to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
