Pecan Pie Brie

This delicious appetizer is quick to make and perfect for any holiday. To start a wheel of brie is placed in a baking dish. Then in a skillet, butter is melted with brown sugar before adding cinnamon, heavy cream, pecans and salt. Next the pecan mixture is poured over the brie and baked until the brie is melty. The cooked brie and nuts are served with crackers, fruit or just a spoon!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz wheel of brie
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 cup of whole chopped pecans
  • Pinch kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Place brie in a small oven-safe skillet or baking dish.
  2. In a nonstick skillet over low heat, melt butter and brown sugar until bubbly. Stir in cinnamon, heavy cream, pecans and salt until completely coated, then remove from heat.
  3. Pour pecan mixture over brie and bake until brie is melty, about 10 minutes.
