These green cookies are perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. Brown sugar and granulated sugar are creamed together with butter. Then eggs, vanilla and green food coloring are whisked into the bowl. Next flour, baking powder and baking soda are added. Chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and crushed Oreos are folded into the batter. The batter is scooped into balls and baked until golden.

1cuplight brown sugarpacked
½cupgranulated sugar
1cupbuttersoftened
2large eggs
1tspvanilla extract
½tspgreen food coloring
½tspbaking powder
1tspbaking soda
3cupAP flour
1cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
1cupwhite chocolate chips
1cupcrushed Oreo cookies
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 F.
In a large bowl, cream together the sugars and butter until the mixture is smooth.
Whisk in the eggs, vanilla and food coloring slowly until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Gently whisk in the flour, baking powder and baking soda until no clumps of dry ingredients remain in the cookie dough.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and crushed Oreos.
Stir until evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough.
Scoop balls of cookie dough the size of 2 tablespoons onto a cookie sheet and bake them for 8 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool for about 5 minutes before removing them from the baking sheet.
Recipe Notes
Dough can be refrigerated for 20 minutes before forming into balls to prevent spreading while baking.
