Crockpot Parmesan Garlic Chicken Pasta

This slow cooker recipe is perfect for a weeknight meal. Chicken breasts are placed in the bottom of a slow cooker. Then a bottle of Parmesan Garlic Sauce is poured over the chicken. Cream cheese and Parmesan cheese are added before covering and cooking several hours. Next the chicken is shredded. Pasta is cooked and tossed with the chicken and sauce.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Parmesan Garlic Sauce
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese cut into pieces
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 10 oz dry pasta cooked and drained
  • Parsley and red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of a slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Pour the entire bottle of sauce over the chicken.
  4. Add the cream cheese and Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken and the sauce.
  5. Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken before serving and stir to mix into the sauce.
  7. Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the crockpot. Stir to combine and garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes. Enjoy!
