Crab Rangoon Bombs

This delicious air fryer recipe can be an appetizer or a side dish. Cream cheese, chopped crab meat, green onions, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce are mixed together. Then canned biscuit dough is rolled into circles. Next the crab mixture is placed in the center of the dough. The dough is folded up over the filling and pinched closed to form a ball. Then the dough balls are placed in an air fryer and cooked for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Ingredients

Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup crab meat finely chopped
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper

Dough

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Cooking spray
  • Sweet chili sauce
  • Sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F or preheat the air fryer to 350 F.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, chopped crab, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper until well combined and smooth.
  3. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 rounds. Flatten each into 4-inch disk using a rolling pin.
  4. Spoon about 1 ½ tablespoons of the crab mixture into the center of each biscuit round.
  5. Fold the dough up over the filling and pinch edges tightly to form sealed balls.
  6. Place the dough balls seam-side down on a greased or parchment lined baking sheet or air fryer basket.
  7. Brush each with the beaten egg to help them bake golden and glossy.
  8. Bake in the oven for 15 to 18 minutes or air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with sweet chili sauce and sprinkle of green onions.
