Copycat Pizza Hut Breadsticks

These tasty breadsticks taste just like the ones from Pizza Hut. Canned pizza dough is unrolled on to a baking sheet. Using a pizza cutter, the dough is cut into 24 sticks. Then the dough is baked. Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil and salt are mixed together. Next the sticks are brushed with melted butter and sprinkled with the seasoning mixture. The sticks are baked for 5 more minutes, then brushed with more butter and sprinkled with the remaining seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 13.8 oz can refrigerated pizza crust
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 ½ tsp basil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp butter melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough on to a cookie sheet.
  3. With a pizza cutter, cut dough lengthwise into 12 long strips. Then cut those pieces in half to make 24 strips. Do not separate strips.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Combine parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil and salt.
  6. Remove breadsticks from oven and brush with half of the melted butter and sprinkle half of the seasoning.
  7. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and brush with remaining butter and sprinkle with remaining seasoning.
